Last month, we have introduced updates to enhance Alerts and developed new properties to search by. These enhancements aim to improve flexibility, precision, and organisational tools for monitoring and searching data within Worklabs, ensuring a more robust and user-centric experience.

Alert rules updates

  • Severity rating: Account holders can now assign a severity rating to alerts, with options including low, medium, high, and critical

  • Regular expression-based conditions: Improving the capability to capture specific data patterns, account holders can now configure alerts using regular expressions. conditions.

  • Data types in scope: The ability to monitor content has been refined, allowing a clear distinction between posts and post comments.

  • Testing regular expressions: Before setting a regular expression-based alert, account holders can test the validity of their regular expression keywords. Additionally, these tests can be saved for future reference, streamlining the alert setup refinement process.

  • Condition combination using proximity operators: Alerts now support the combination of two or more conditions (keywords and regular expression types) using proximity operators. This update offers comprehensive coverage in detection capability with options to combine conditions using AND, OR, NEAR, and WITHIN operators, varying from 3 to 10 words of proximity.

Alerts overview page improvements

  • Grouping and categorisation: To facilitate easier maintenance and organisation, alerts can now be grouped and categorised. This addition aids in managing a growing list of alerts efficiently.

  • Visibility of alert severity: The overview page now displays the severity of each alert as set by the account holder, allowing for a quick assessment of alert urgency.

New search properties

  • Search by channel: This new feature enables account holders to search for data items within specific groups on the source system.

  • Search by timeline: With the introduction of timeline-based search, account holders can now locate data items associated with a specific data creators timeline across the source system.

  • Search by thread participants: This search enhancement significantly improves chat message reviews by allowing account holders to precisely locate chat messages involving specific data creators. Whether you're searching for conversations that include all mentioned data creators or any one of them, this feature streamlines the discovery of relevant chat messages, ensuring a more targeted and efficient review process.
